Do Jimcels bother using microplates?

Imo it's makes sense to progressively overload by using microplates (anything below 5kg). For example, being able to increase your deadlift by 2.5kg every week still allows you to progressively overload but at a rate that still allows you to get your volume sets in which is beneficial for muscle hypertrophy and CNS adaptations.

Microplates? Most of weightlifters do a pyramidal training for eample they do a set 60kg per 10 reps, then 65kg per 5 reps and finally 70 per 2 repetitions.
Microplates are not necessary because weightlifters train a bigger range of weights

Not true necessarily true. When you're competition at the top levels, lbs of weight make new world records.
