hard to change after developmental years, so yeah the complexes persist. That's why you see posters of 5'7'' in LLS forums that went up to 5'10" having still insecurities.
 
Only if you were seriously bullied about your height or had psychological issues deep down because of it. Even then, I'd imagine all of that goes out the window once you actually are taller.
