Do naps compensate for lack of sleep in the night?

No. You'll end up feeling even more shit

I only take naps when I'm extremely tired, usually when sick. Although I wake up groggy and lethargic, I usually feel better after like half an hour. Never gotten a headache after a nap though.

Depends how long they are, if you go through all the sleep cycles you wake up feeling a lot better. But it’s definitely never as good as just consistent sleep at night

Kinda but only have 1hr 30min nap max and do it before 4pm or you will have trouble falling asleep at night

naps fuck up sleep schedule imo and make you feel even more shit.

Its been shown the depth and duration of REM sleep is hindered during the daytime
even if you get 8 hours of sleep with 2during the day 8 hours at night will mog
