These muscles to be more specific
They add up a lot to neck width.
You can get a good workout even by just doing basic neck tilts, but you need good mind muscle connection, feel them contract.
Here's how I do it.
First just statically contract both your back and front neck.
While maintaining this static hold, try contracting the sternocleidomastoids alternatively, if you can't feel those muscles and u can't contract, try pinching them.
Just make a habit of performing this exercise while you're in front of your computer, it is simple, efficient and easy to stick to.
