To be honest i’ve always wondered like if sin is inevitable and repentance turns your heart in the right direction from sinning, what’s the point? Let’s say there’s a divine scale and it measured our moral deeds. It’s almost certain that your bad deeds may outweigh your good deeds and you’ll be destined to hell according to most religions.

It’s in human nature to sin but it’s what accounts for spiritual death which in result earns you a spot in hell, if we agreed humans can’t stop sinning. I’m no expert in theology but I’m pretty sure if God was just he’d put us all into hell, assuming hell exists. Bad deeds are permanent because they effect your life.
