They subconsciously know not to put any kind ideas pertaining to female success in my mind. They make sure I stay in my place.

Because they want to deny the fact that they settled for each other. They're pretty much projecting their failure on to you, so they want you to make the same choice as them and buy into the bluepill bullshit so they feel as though they made the right choice.
