Do people actually enjoy going to work? Why don't people take more risks in investments and remote overemployment?

When I hear people's testimonials about muh "I love being a consultant" or "I have always wanted to be a senior manager" I cage tbh. These are the people who will forever be Average Joes and Janes.

Wealthy people (new money) take risks to get where they are. Living off paycheck to paycheck and putting a bit of your money in a lifetime ISA = average Joe and Jane forever.

Fuck no. I go so my parents stop bitching at me for one of the two things you're supposed to be getting as an adult. Second thing isn't ever coming, sorry mum and dad.
Wasting my earthly hours doing something I don't enjoy is wasting them. And if you don't have anybody to spend your money with, like a family, you'll notice just how dumb being part of the rat race is.

Yeah I know people who enjoy their work or take pride in doing a good job. But it's definitely the minority of the population

I don't get why people are so afraid to take risks and start investing at a young age, or running side hustles. For remote workers, they can have multiple remote jobs (and keeping silent about it) and take a good set of that money to build investments to get wealthy, rather than just playing by the rules with 1 remote job.

Many people think getting a degree or two + getting a "white-collar" job + moving up the corporate ladder + putting a small amount of savings into a lifetime ISA is enough.

NO.

These people will FOREVER be Average Joes and Janes.

Because most people are fine with being average as long as they pay their bills. They really only care about family, friends, relationships. They don't really give af about becoming a millionaire

I'm not happy about being average. I want to live comfortably.
Luckily both my GF and I are into investing (not to sound sexist but it's very rare that women are actively investing).
I feel for those that think a muh "prestigious white collar job and master's degrees" are enough for people to get on by.

JFL @ U thinking everybody can be a winner. Take a lesson from Taoism, for there to be winners, some have got to be losers. Be extra philosophical and winners and losers only exist in games. And the money game is fucking stupid I'd rather be a winner at the maxilla game :woke: :woke: :woke: :woke: :woke: :woke: :woke: :woke: :woke: :woke:
