Wine is good. I know there’s supposed to be no difference in how the body processes different alcoholic drinks but I feel much happier/more amorous after a few glasses of wine

distilled alcohol is pathetic. even beer tastes bad.that is why you see media advertise distilled alcohol too much.

to get the real feel you have to tase non distilled alcohol.

i have been making non distilled alcohol for my own consumption for about 10 years using 10% yield yeast.


I have made alcoholic beverages from Honey, Apple, Grape also known as mead,cider,wine.

All of them taste fantastic and they all get different types of floral aroma.

some beers taste good to me, but that’s about it, aside from a few cocktails. i’ve had whiskey, vodka, gin and none of them did it for me. getting absolutely hammered with friends is super fun though, some of the best memories of my life.

Some beers & red wines actually taste good. Many don’t. Hard alcohol is definitely an acquired taste. But some mixed drinks taste good. Often too sweet.

it's like coffee. some people get a taste for it over a long period of time and drink it as is. black for an example, but most of the time people have to mix it with sugar and cream or for alcohol soft drinks, juices and all this other shit to mask the taste.

I think most people dislike it at first but after readjusting their taste they don't mind it. Personally I only like cider and everything else tastes like shit in my opinion.

You need distillation to get a high ABV. Fermentation is fine for making low ABV drinks such as beer and wine, but there's only so much ethanol yeast can produce

I get around 8% abv in mead and about 5-6% in cider and wine but all of them mog store bought alcohol in terms of taste.

That's why whisky for instance is aged in oak barrels, to give it some flavor. Good luck getting drunk off <10% booze. I guess it all comes down to why you drink
