Do people find love and feel joy after ascending

I was wondering because I see most the people on this forum start because they aren't loved ect then begin to carry on because they believe persueing beauty is "noble" it all seems like there trying to fill an empty void so I'd like to know do you think people who ascended felt joy and contempt with their life or did the void just become bigger
