I have a extremely ugly friend who knows half off the city, seems to be friends with everyone. I have also been close with legit chads for years, and it wasn’t because they were so gl.

A while ago I read something on here that made a lot of sense. Essay incoming, sorry in advance.

Someone said that if you’re a clean cut Chad, other men/people in general don’t really treat you with resentment or hostility because you’re so good looking that it’s just undeniable. Other dudes have no choice but to accept it and give respect. Plus, if you’re on that tier of looks you probably have a charismatic NT personality from being treated well your whole life.

On the flip side, if you’re good looking but not perfect, or you have a different personality, you will receive this unspoken hostility and resentment that you’re describing. Other men see that you stand out and get more female attention than them, so it makes them upset because you still have noticeable flaws.

In my experience, this is accurate. I’m tall and my face is very striking with standout features like a sharp jawline, wide mandible, tall ramus, and hunter eyes but I don’t have that perfect harmony/symmetry and polish that makes a clean-cut Chad. I’ve got a lot of male friends/acquaintances that I’m cool with but I also experience weird vibes and pointless hostility from other guys constantly, everywhere I go. maybe this would be different if my PSL was the same but my features were higher trust, I don’t know.

Personality and social skills are also crucial IRL despite what NEET blackpiller chuds on here will tell you. Maybe even moreso if you’re good looking or have a strong social prescence due to your looks. People look at you and create a mental expectation of what you’re supposed to act like, and when your true behavior doesn’t align with that, they get standoffish, weirded out, or hostile.

Anyone who grew up ugly and ascended hard will understand this- abused dog syndrome. You go from being invisible to being noticed by almost everybody, but it’s hard to shake the mental damage of being mistreated and shit on. People get angry, upset, or feel judged when I’m quiet and don’t speak to them- they tell me I look scary, etc… but Im just reserved because I had 16 years of life experiences that taught me to be that way.
