it's not exactly like i go around telling people i'm slow, but somehow they just assume it? the reception i usually get comes in 3 forms: pure scorn/hatred, faux "yeah we're bros my nigger" interactions, or just talking to me like i'm a 4 year old

recently my younger brother has even started patronizing me. he drove me to get a new tent the other day, and i said all the concrete dust on his hi-vis was irritating my chest and he's just like "NO, IT'S NOT." before threatening to pull over and make me walk

i have level 3 autism and struggle with certain things, but how do people know before i even open my mouth? do i really look that fucking aspie?
