Do people lie for the validation?

I’ve seen multiple I know in person mind you, lie about what they look like in photos and it’s so fucking funny, as an example they will circle the ugliest person in a group photo and say it’s them and then they will hype this other person up (which is actually them) and talking about how lucky they are to have Chad status and model potential, like nigga that is YOU dickriding yourself to max since nobody else will so you have to use one of your friends as choppedbait to selfsuck while other people agree shitty friend and plain embarrassing for yourself overall
