Do push ups work?

I want to grow biceps and forearms.

I do a set till I can't any more. Usually 10 reps. Every half an hour for 12 hours a day.

So it's 20 × 12 = 240.

I do it inclined on my couch instead of the floor to feel less pain on my joints because of arthritis.

I mean I can feel the pain in my biceps when I do them consistently.
 
Push ups are mid for muscular hipertrophy

Don’t do it everyday keep like a day or two for rest and I think you should do reps and stop when you have like 2 left

they are mid but if u max them out 100 a day it will helppp

pushup trains yo chest
combine with incline, decline, normal, wide

Push ups primarily work the chest, triceps and front delts. Some calisthenics exercises for biceps and forearms are close grip chin ups for biceps and towel pull ups for forearms

Ok thanks guys. I'll start going to the gym and do curls then.
 
just get yourself a cheap weights set and train with it if u don't want to go to the gym

also for forearms you could get a bucket of sand/rice and do something like is shown in this guide: here
