I have recessed infras but from what I can tell my maxilla is normal which I didn't think was possible, I dont have a thin upper lip a large nose or an underbite. I tried googling but couldn't find a good answer, can someone help? I have a narrow maxilla and am getting an MSE soon if this is relevant.

They're linked but no

If you have a recessed maxilla you'll likely have recessed infras
if you have recessed infras, sometimes you'll have a recessed maxilla

pretty much , but your premaxillary area could be fine cause of naturally compensated bite
