It doesn't have an impact on cranofacial growth and height. What is really important though is that you don't mouthbreathe and get adequate amount of rest (7-9 hours)!

- To stop mouthbreathing during sleep you should get MSE and also buy humidifier at the same time, and put some distilled water in aswell.
- To get adequate good sleep, you need to buy good bed and pillow to sleep on. Get rid of wifi and EMF, turn your cellphone on airplane mode. You should get enough magnesium in your diet and maybe supplement melatonin and DSIP

It has an effect on symmetry, if you always sleep on one side

isn’t the ideal amount of sleep 9-12 hours?

I think that's the worst sleeping position, I sleep on side with arm as my pillow. If I sleep on my back I wake up with my mouth open even though I'm still nose breathing

But I'm talking out of my ass

Lol no 7-8 hours is the recommended. Anything more than that might be unhealthy

Check the edit bro

Also no, our ancestors used to sleep early on night (at around 9-10PM) and then they'll wake up early like at around 4-5AM. Forgot to say that it is ideal time to sleep.

Doesn't matter. Won't affect anything. The best sleeping position is the one you can hold all night comfortably.

Also just sleep until you wake up, don't force yourself to stay asleep. There aren't any benefits

5 and 7 are ideal, but it doesnt matter so much

Probably not. I’ve seen people with very noticeable facial asymmetries and asked how they sleep and they say on their back and over seen very symmetric and well balanced faces who say they sleep on their side

I sleep like you, too. On a belly. All I've ever read everywhere, is that sleeping on the back in a straight position is the best/healthiest, but I just can't, it's so uncomfortable for me. So I just sleep like you.
I'm asymmetric throughout the whole face, or at least from eyes down to the jaw. Have a tilted face. I don't really remember how I slept as a kid, I think I did a lot of side sleeping, but also I think I varied it a lot as a kid. The sleeping on a belly is relatively new thing for me(8 past years~?)
Sometimes I do fall asleep on my back(I often try to), but often time wake up or notice as I wake up, that my mouth tends to be slightly open and tongue isn't placed correctly at all. Also reason why I tend to wake up too, I feel.
Generally I feel like I don't have bad problems with sleep(apnea, snoring) if sleeping on a belly, but think it could develop if sleeping on back. Such is my anecdotal experience.
Edit oh also about height. I'm 179cm, probably shorter than my mother and much shorter than my father. So take that as you wish.

People used to force their children to sleep on the floor if they noticed spine abnormalities (cifosis, lordosis, etc.), so probably.
