a lot, environment decides how your genes are expressed, and it shapes the genes too (over decades)

Look at it this way. The human population keeps growing and growing at a DISGUSTING RATE the people that exist right now would not exist if natural selection was as effective as it used to be. Bad genes aren't being weeded out as much and is actually propagating.

That is just my thoughts, feel free to prove me wrong.
