Do sugar free energy drinks have some other wacky shit in them?

In recent times, I've gotten anxiety whenever I've drank energy drinks and I always drink the sugar free ones
Today I just had the regular sugar one, with same caffeine content and I got no anxiety from it
Coincidence or is there some weird shit in the sugar free ones I'm reacting to?

They make them sweet with aritifical sweetners which are worse for you than sugar in most cases

They add some nasty shit to make it sugar free and tasty at the same time. I would avoid to put any unknown shit in my mouth.

idk why ppl waste $ on energy drinks tbh,just invest in a preworkout and pour a scoop in a bottle of water
whenever you need to perk up during the day,works great for me and saves money
