Ah these. I haven't gotten that deep with elevators/lifts yet. My 3 inch ones so far make me feel pretty confident in my height for my area.

Southern US. People here are tall but 5'11 is still enough to "heightmog" here TBH. I mean you'll see taller people but you won't feel that short. Lifefuel for my manlet ass.

Midwest and Pacific Northwest, yes. NYC isn't that tall from what I remember but it's been a while. Hear LA isn't that tall either. Thing about big cities is you see a wide variety of heights.
