Denmark would never sell and usa doesn't have a great history with natives. The entirety of Greenland is built upon Danish infrastructure, education and work, their schools are taught in danish, the doctors and teachers are danish immigrants.

if usa really did take over greenland, danish would be replaced with english as the primary language of education, healthcare etc, which would take decades to implement.
