Do ugly people become self aware earlier than attractive people

I noticed a lot of unattractive people become super self aware at a young age because of how people treat them. You start noticing small reactions facial expressions tone of voice and social hierarchy way earlier because you have to. Meanwhile attractive people can go through life without even thinking deeply about any of it. Do you think struggling with looks makes people more observant and realistic or just more insecure over time

People are told they are good looking by those close to them when they’re young and don’t really realize they aren’t tbh. In my experience my looks are around average so I was never really ridiculed but also never got a ton of female attention, I am short tho. Before I found out about which features/bones whatever are important, I kind of didn’t really care besides basic shit such as hair and physique, now my death tier eye area is all I see when I look at a camera
