Their skulls undergo less physical change, due to sexual dimorphism, and because of this it's less likely for things to go wrong in theory, less mechanical change = less opportunity for things to go wrong.

Therefor, while an guy has to have many dimorphic features(caused by development) to be attractive, a woman only needs a few.

Making women more likely to be unattractive due to bad eye areas or weight, rather than recession or asymmetry.
