Do women really hate unattractive men or do they pity them?

I have talked up a gal from high school. She's a very beautiful blonde. She really likes my music and wants to get my number. She is a married women with kids. I just wonder why she would be so nice to me if I was ugly. There's nothing in it for her. She's married so I guess she feels safer that way. Its one of the few positive interactions with a woman I have had.
