I don’t think it was protection that’s def cap, I think bc he didn’t really have a childhood, he wanted to live the childhood that he missed through the kids he brought to his estate. Apparently, the first sexual encounter he had, his girl pushed him onto the bed and started taking her clothes off and he started getting scared and covering his eyes. I think it truly was js his innocence, the home alone kid used to sleep with him and he said a million times that Michael never tried anything weird but idk
