No, because reality is much grayer in color. Genetics obviously increases your demographic pool of potential mates, and the lack of it decreases it, but it will never be 0

You just need resources, either inherited or earned along the way with a lot of effort, time and energy invested + luck and fate, and then throw yourself into social contexts, and eventually you will find someone if you have the right attitude, no matter what you look like

They should still try to attain their ideal, but they shouldn't hope to that they will ever be in a nt position. But being nt isn't that special. You're born, you educate urself, you go to work, marry, have children, divorce and die. That looks like hell to me, but if you're nd you would naturally escape all of that and you could find an alternative life path
