Agreed, but also, female faces deviate less from the average. Testosterone has much more variance in adapting features, which more often leads to uncanny faces in men

females need to look soft and round, thats easy and achievable even with recessions, men need to look angular and sharp, thats very hard because recessions do the opposite, basically recessions mainly effect men
