Yah. Instagram is mostly heavily edited photos, so you only need to be above average looking with a good body to do that.

That's certainly another way to succeed. I think the imporant thing to know is that as a man you will never get your looks match unless you get very good at a specific strategy other than online dating, and looks max to the best version of you.
