Before one can answer that question he needs to understand what God truly represents, if you're asking "do you believe in an omnipotent man in the sky" then of course not

The fedora for when?

The neglection of religion is a major cause of inceldom; if you don't believe that a religiously moral patrairchy wouldn't solve much of our problems then you have square root of minus one IQ

believeing in a religiously moral patriarchy is not the same as believeing in god.

I would gladly accept to live in religiously moral patriarchy than a feminist cuckdom dystopia as a nonreligious person

The problem is that most people who don't believe in God want to live in a feminist cuckdom dystopia, religion must be state enforced, jfl when in those centers of indoctrination called schools teach us that state enforced religion is a bad thing

Some principals held by or originating from religions should be state enforced but religion itself is useless. Call it cope all you want but before long all religions will be extinct. Not in our lifetimes, but maybe in a few hundred years or so.

Low IQ. until recently almost everyone was religious. It was the only the recent technological and scientific advancements that are now causing the rapid decline in religious followers.

no, it's the liberation of women and the explosion and promotion of feminism what is causing the rapid decline of religious followers, a patriarchy can't be sustained without religion to keep the MEN in check

That too, there are a number of reasons with scientific advancements being the main one. Religion did fine for thousands of years because people didn't know better. Now that we have this new knowledge, religion is in a decline and that decline will only speed up as more generations are born until the inevitable extinction of religion.

And that's good because that why we get closer to a technological orwellian dictatorship, right...?

@StormlitAqua

Recites the Nicene Creed. Also: I am the way and the truth and the light, no one gets to the father except through me...

I recommend to every human on the [planet to join the Christian church: the fat, bald, short, tall, chad, incel, woman, black, white, yellow, brown, disabled, etc. EVERYONE. The christian faith and christian church is the only thing keeping me alive on Earth right now, and is the only thing keeping anyone from eternal death in Hell.

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near. It's never too late to become a christian.

This question. Consider this: Either nothing happens when we die, or something happens when we die. 50% chance you're right or not. Now, either a religion is correct, or all religion is manmade hoax, and something completely different happens when we die. 50% chance to be correct. Now, which religion is true? They all claim to be true. Let's say the biggest 4 religions are the only viable ones, and disregard that some of them didn't exist 3000 years ago. Which religion was "correct" at that time? The predecessor to the ones you claim to be correct now? The oldest one? The one with the most followers?

So there your chances of being correct are lowered even more. As you know, there are lots of different versions and ways to worship a religion. Which one's correct of these versions? The most orthodox ones only? What if you weren't raised on the most orthodox version?

What about sin? Is there a point in believing in religion when you know you're a sinner? Most of us are, and most of us don't care. Porn is lust incarnate, and lust is a deadly sin in like 90% of religions. Yet I doubt people feel any form of remorse whatsoever for consuming porn. And if they pray for forgiveness for their sins, does that include porn? Do people even realize they have sinned? And if people can get into a paradise while having sinned, because they didn't know what they was doing was sin, could you get into a paradise even if you didn't believe, because you didn't think what you was doing was morally wrong? Is it based on regret? Because many religious people have done sins they don't regret in the slightest, including consuming porn on a regular basis. Do they all go to hell?

Religion can be a good thing. It can give people a sense of belonging, a community to be part of, and a sense of purpose in life. How much time you want to spend on it is up to you. But let me get this clear: I doubt with every fiber of my being that what you do here on earth will have any impact whatsoever on what happens to your consciousness after you die. In most likelihood, it is snuffed out like any other animal. Why are we humans special? We're not, and the religions that claim we are were made by ourselves.

And the final thing to address. Let's say that because we can't explain where the universe came from, there IS a god. Does that guarantee there is an afterlife, or that any religion we made on earth is correct? Of course not. Just because there is a god doesn't guarantee an afterlife. Just because there is a god doesn't guarantee it will show itself to its creations. Why would the creator of the world give a shit where dead creatures go, when the creator themselves is unable to die? Would it even be able to create an afterlife? When you die, all the functions that made you conscious are gone. There's not much a god can do about you or your consciousness after that.. You're finished.

TLDR: Either nothing happens when we die, or we're all going to hell.
