If you apply a product to your hair, you pretty much can't use a towel. If you don't though, there is no point using blow drier, it takes way longer and probably damages the hair follicles.I don't see a difference between towel drying and blow drying in my experience.

If your hair is not oily or damaged and you keep it clean, thats as good as ur hair will get without products or harsh treatments.
