Alcohol just has no effect on me, i drank loads and the effect wasnt that great, i have shitty receptors i need to do a lot to feel much of anything.

i’m not addicted and only drink socially, but when i first started drinking i only drank alone

Not for everyone, I've tried it a few times, even accidentally got drunk once, never rly helped me

As for the taste, the few varieties of alcohol I've tried taste like shit except for bourbon, even then it's meh, never drinking again
