The constant mass consumption of images make the products, people, experiences and everything look average, boring, dated even tho you never experienced that at your own. In nature the experience and the images are linked, the images are a big part of sensation but it's not everything, the lack of the complimentary senses stimulants lead to the feeling of incompleteness and constant dissatisfaction.:feelsping:

Before cameras, our imaginations would run rapid and image a mass of places, people, and seas. Our eyes were naked and weren't exposed to lands we did not step foot on, you only knew the faces of immediate family, and our minds weren't wrapped around entertainment like origami

Now, our eyes are exposed to millions of images a year, our ears listen to thousands of songs, the most beautiful people & things nature can offer are at our own fingertips; just a few strokes of keys & clicks away. It's not necessary a bad thing, but we rarely experience any of that for our own nowadays, if even at all

The problem is that the consumption of images interfere on the expectations of reality, even when you're aware of it.
