Do you ever feel stupid in the hyper-specialized world that we live in

I feel stupid every single day. I look at everything around me and realize that I don’t know how the fuck any of it truly works and that I would never be able to recreate it and I feel stupid as a result.

I get in my car, I realize that below the hood lies an extremely complicated engine, transmission, billions of electrical wires, etc—all working together in harmony and perfectly, but I don’t know how or why

I look at my TV, and realize that behind the screen lies special panels, wires, a source for internet, etc—and I don’t know how or why it works.

I look at my refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, etc—and I don’t know anything either.

I’m a blob of useless meat

A world would not function with only scientists/engineers/mechanics
