i was reading the ingredient list on a pack of toast bread the other day and got curious so i looked it up turns out the cheapest way to make e920 l-cysteine which they use to soften the dough and make it rise faster is literally human hair the crazy part is for years they were collecting bags of hair from barbershops in china and processing it in chemical plants to turn it into this amino acid then putting it into everything from frozen pizza crusts to fast food burger buns recently people found out and complained so they mostly switched to duck feathers or synthetic versions but on the label it still just casually says dough conditioner ever since i learned this my perspective on packaged bakery stuff is ruined honestly eating hair collected off a barbershop floor is insane :hnghn:

yes always, even in Europe half the products are laced with unneeded preservatives and chemicals when just 2 shelves next to it you can find a better and more natural alternative of the exact same product.

Always, anyone who doesn’t is a faggot who dreams about sucking the elites cocks every night.

I plant my own carrots and potatoes because those are the only vegetables I eat, I get my meat from a farmer or wild.

I bake my own bread or get it locally baked wjen I don’t got the energy. I cook my own jam and when I crave something sweet I bake it.

Anyone who buys slop like protein bars or candy is a faggot nigga.

yeah I check before buying anything new. I usually buy the same stuff all the time and it's mostly whole ingredients though.

Yeah, I can guess who knows maybe they don’t list the ingredients of most of the products they use so they can get approved by the Ministry of Health

So, what do you usually buy?
eggs greek yogurt milk unflavored whey protein fruits and veggies. unfortunately my parents don't let me eat meat in the house :feelswhy:

Yeah the list is great but why won't they let you eat meat? Is your family vegan or something?

they're vegetarians. I was fed nothing but rice, lentils, and veggies from childhood and got 30g protein a day. I think that's why I am 5'8 :feelswhy:

By this logic, you should stop drinking municipal water because it was once sewage, or stop eating organic vegetables because they grew in literal horse shit.

It's been banned for e920 production in the european union for ages + most modern commercial supply is made through the fermentation of corn and plant starch anyway.
