I wouldn't totally agree.
It's not just an ego thing. Sometimes, when in a group setting, her behavior would ruin your chances with the other, prettier girls. Since they would usually be her friends, they would give her the space she needs and thus dismiss your attempts to hit on them.

I know that. But that jealousy arises when a PRETTY woman is hitting on you.
When an ugly one does it, I can assume that this might actually lower their interest because they'd associate you with her looks level.

If only landwhales, fats or very ugly women with odd body proportions are only approaching or liking you on dating apps it means you're a normie 5/10 that looks reasonably ok. You're in the uncanny valley where the looksmatched non-fat kinda cute becky your seeking, seeks better than you. These fat/obese foids in the 1-3 smv range have bad experiences with Chads/Chadlite so aim a little lower - the normie nonfat guy.

It is self-evident that moderately attractive women (5-6/10) and hot women (7+/10) seek the more masculine men, in other words, NOT skinny guy, average slim guys or non-overweight guys like a lot of us. Its about getting ideal proportions and looking more masc, working on your wardrobe and style while maintaining healthy T levels. Low T levels will show in your behaviour, which repulse the 5's and up. Unfortunately height matters a lot for having the right proportions.
