Yes I avoid it and just take some vitamin D. I don’t want to be a wrinkly raisin later. Sometimes I see those chavvy type of people who tanned way too often (even worse: with sun beds) and they look like horrifying wrinkly orange creatures, it’s disgusting.

Only low iqs think the giant fire ball is your friend just because it exists in the universe.

80% of the uv rays get through windows and 15% radiate off of the concrete/asphalt, be aware

No if you use spf and not 24/7 in the sun obviously not

too much of anything is bad

the sun is good but if ur baking in it for 7 hours a day it will definitely fuck u up

UV damage(imp) --> UV hits the skin ok UVA radiation (320–400 nm) generates reactive oxygen species (ROS) in both the dermis and epidermis. UVB radiation (280–320 nm) does the same and also directly damages DNA . ROS triggers enzyme release. When UV light damages skin tissue, the body produces an enzyme called metalloproteinase (MMP). So those who know MMP breaks down ECM . so what this does is actually degrade collagen allowing the tissue to heal so yk what happens when collagen goes .wrinkles
UV exposure actually upregulates this by a lot

Different MMPs go after different collagen types: MMP-1, MMP-8, and MMP-13 degrade fibrillar collagen. MMP-2 and MMP-9 degrade collagen types I and IV and UV rays also block collagen formation too or collagen synthesis

while it also is imp for
Reactive oxygen species --> ROS is produced through cellular oxidative metabolism stress and mitochondrial disfunction this is really environmental and caused by environmental factors like stress UV rays smoking poor nutrition mitochondrial imbalance and all watch some health guru regarding this
ROS damages lipid protein DNA and over decades of this natural repairment cant catch up

ros is also generated by sun so

while its also imp for

1. mood
circadian rythm
vitamin D production ofc

so it is also beneficial for health while aging skin at the same time and (heard ) within 30 min of exposure your body get every thing it wants from sun

so i would wanna wear sunscreen for a long sun exposure while not wearing any for short burst of exposure

Too much is bad for skin
