Do you guys belive in a soul why or why not

You are on the right track here, but you make the mistake of assuming that there are multiple individual 'consciousnesses' (idea of self) when in a physicalist universe, there are no individual distinctions, rather pure Consciousness as an ontological reality.
What you call "consciousness" is simply a mechanism to keep our body alive and healthy and successfully reproduce and provide for our children. That is the only reason we are "experiencing" something, just like any other living organism.

Once the mechanism stops working, we stop being "conscious".

jfl at these midwit fedora takes. Yes, consciousness is a physical mechanism, but you keep ascribing a persistent identity to objects, when the mechanism is all that exists.

You assume that once the biological machine reaches failure, consciousness no longer exists ontologically; but you place precedence over the biological machine rather than the physical process of consciousness itself.

Matter is constantly transforming, consciousness is eternal in a physical universe.

So you're suggesting that there's a consciousness that gets passed around all the living life forms that ever existed?

Basically reincarnation. Yeah, that's cope.
No, I am interested in correcting an error in your physicalist position regarding the nature of consciousness. You are still making the fallacy that identity exists for distinct individual entities, when in reality, everything is just condensed to matter. Consciousness does not get passed around, Matter = Consciousness. Reincarnation assumes the eternally existing ontological status of a soul.

You are presuming that the 'self' has a uniform identity over time when consciousness is a phenomenon involving an innumerable amount of physical processes.
Woah man. I am already depressed that reality is meaningless. I rage harder when u see idiots like u bullshitting. Dont argue with dumb facts , that solidifies my belief in my depressing knowledge

Schwer zu sagen , ich würde gerne

Physical process itself depends on biological machine
