Do you guys ever wish you were korean?

I'm chinese, and don't get me wrong, I've had really good luck attracting women. I'm pale, cute face, average height and fit. My hair is thinning, but somehow that helps even more idk why. A lot of women mistake me for korean.

But a lot of women who make it apparent that they like me. The first think they ask me is 'are you korean?

And they seem a bit let down when i am not.

It's all good to me tbh. I understand. I am very grateful for korea and kpop. I'd rather be east asian now then east asian 100 years ago.

But a little part of me, wishes I was korean just to get that extra status kick hahahah. I did a DNA test and hoped i had like a bit of korean in me. But nope. 100% CHINESE.

i feel like being korean is only really good for the halo
you don't have a nation that will really support you or at least has some serious respect worldwide, plus the "korean man" usually refers to kpop twink looking dudes
china is more well known as a nation compared to a specific modern trend like kpop
