I was a giga bookworm in secondary school and sixth form. However medicine and my job caught up to me, so I try to read a book once every two weeks now.

It’s alright, nothing fancy like medicine.

Yeah same here tbh, I’m still reading but less so unless it’s for coursework, since the last thing I wanna do after a day of analysing poems is to crack open another book.

I like to read history.
I am currently reading a book on the history of gymcelling.
I not that long ago read a book about Revelations and all the times Christians have thought the end was near because the prophecies were coming true (Jesus never came though).
I read a really great book about mythology and rituals in different cultures.
I also read a book called “the end is always near” which documented all the times we’ve been close to extinction.
I read a short book about different honorary practices cultures use to mourn their dead.
To name a few.
