The idea of communism is not the same as the reality of it. Everyone having their "fair share" means everyone gets a lot less, regardless of their efforts. Less money, less water and food, less electricity for some examples. In countries with free healthcare that means they share it with everyone else, so much more demand, less quality, and you have to wait a long time to be seen. But besides that, that is only the happy idealistic version of communism they're selling. What they really are is a whole lot worse. Btw soviet union was the first state to officially recognize israel (may 1948), well before the us and other nations. Soviets also heavily facilitated arms transfers to israel during their war of independence (1947-49) through czechoslovakia
