Say if you died tomorrow. Would someone other than your family and friends care? Legacy doesn't have to be a monument built of stone, it is the quiet, persistent vibration you leave in the lives of others.

If you vanished tomorrow, would the world feel smaller? A true legacy isn't found in the obituary it's found in the "phantom limb" sensation felt by a community It's the person at the grocery store who misses your specific way of saying "hello," or the colleague who no longer has that one peer who truly listened something unique like humor, or the way you make a room different. Do you have any kind of legacy like this?

its kind of brutal that my biggest legacy right now is a song i reposted on soundcloud that got over a million plays, not connected to my name or face
like, thats the biggest mark i currently have on this world, jfl

Only ones that would care if I died are my machines because the next guy who bought them wouldn't maintain and repair them like I do

The more interesting part would be seeing people’s reactions, finding out who truly cared about you. Then again you wouldn’t be able to see it, unless…

It doesn't matter if we have legacy or not.
After we die there will be a moment after which we will be forgotten for all eternity as if we never existed.

20 years of posting my thoughts on the internet feeding and shaping the first ever AI which will become the next stage of evolutionary human consciousness. Through just be first theory, nurturing AI in its earliest years, I have contributed more to the future of humanity and the universe than anyone born after AI's baby years ever could.

Yeah for sure but idk it would be positive, not to sound like a retard but I act differently and say things that people I know aren't used to

This is a really good question worth thinking about very seriously, thanks Jason. I will keep this mind.

Shouldn’t care about legacy if you see everything as One

This sorta shit always reminds me of Total War Shogun 2 - childhood gaming memories

When you win a campaign, a little cutscene takes place. It captures legacy perfectly, and how it's fleeting.

Then again, some customs and people really do echo through time.
