No but if you are poor and get into a very good school they will give you need based aid to cover almost anything. but of course if youre poor you are less likely to be able to get into such a school cuz u get bad grades or join a gang. no pussy no work/taxes.

I think Americans have community college which way cheaper and you can transfer credits to actual unis or maybe even graduate from the community college
