And are you getting it for acne scarring/hyperpigmentation or anti aging? If for the former then asking your derm should be enough. Maybe larp that your skin makes you suicidal or some shit and you have BDD.

If it's for anti aging your derm will gaslight you hard and say you don't need it, closed case ngl

Hard to tell. It will depend on the severity but they often go first for soaps and creams based on salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. I know someone with disastrous back skin and doctors just tell him to avoid hot showers .

Good luck with it, I still think tret works wonders if you can get your hands on it

I will tell him that it affects me horribly and that I can't go out shirtless and it affects me enormiously and that I tried all sorts of non-prescription stuff.
