Do you measure your height while your back is facing the wall or your face facing the wall??

Just went to a doctor and I asked him to measure me both ways barefoot with his wooden tool (most legit way)

Got 185cm back facing wall
And 187cm face facing wall

Even he didn't why there's 2 cm difference

So why there's this 2 cm difference?
