Who cares about bad or good ? Raising kids in this economy for an average person is hard. You need to work more to provide for them and your family. We don't live in the past anymore, the privilege to have a kid nowadays for the average person is hard nowadays.

Also you need to save for your retirement and having kid makes it difficult and there is no guarantee this kid will take care of you when you get old.
