My gym also opens 3 days a week, the other days I train with a retired boxing couch who lives next to me.
He is a very old guy but he's arguably the best boxing couch my country ever had, he is retired but he personally trains me.


I'm originally an Orthodox but I can comfortably play southpaw as well.

understandable, never be ashamed to ask them go light on you, as long as you take new info + apply (outside gym times) then you indeed will get sharp rapidly.
i remember one experienced skinny zoomer kept stealing my brain cells even when asked to go light, i simply went hard too and delivered good upper.
but ngl if you take game srs then quitting long time will fyck up ur anaerobic endurance

used to do too, and honestly i wish i had trained combat sport instead gymcelling, it made my body take time to be flexible..
