Kurdistan is a region of West Asia that was historically ruled and inhabited by Kurds, an Iranic ethnic group.

Their borders cut through Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria.

They are the largest ethnic group in the world without a state of their own.

It's like posting great Israel or the great turan map. You can post whatever you want but they are not realistic. That map doesn't match with reality.

I would be okay with kurdistan if we do population exchange. If you have your country you should live in your country, right?

Kurds were historically a mountain tribe forgotten the name but even the Persian empire couldn’t subjugate them the ancient Greeks also feared them. They lived in the mountains between Turkey and Iraq and would raid Sumerian, Hittite and Persian/Mediun empires all the time real shottas like @StreegeReturn

But they aren’t Turkic or Turkish speaking so it’s retarded to even call them that they are an indo Euro group closer to Iranians than to Turks

They're good at fighting and fight in a similar manner of the Turkic Steppe Warriors.

Yes, genetically and linguistically closer to Iranians like Persians and Tajiks but culturally imo they're closer to Turkic people

I feel like Kurds would relate more to Turks than to Persians

They relate to Turks more due to being under their rule for so long and being nomadic it kind of goes without saying lmfao. Kurds didn’t fight in the same manner as Turks they fought simular to Greeks and other mountain peoples, Turks were horse archer nomadic warriors, Kurds were raiders and when they did use cavalry it was based of the Iranic sample (Cataphracts, heavy cav and light cav).

Nomadic people all have a warlike culture due to the nature of being a nomad an native plains Indian has a simular fighting style to a Turk from Cnetral Asia despite neither group ever meeting simply due to life style so that’s not a solidified argument

Very true, you seem to know a lot about this.

Do you support Kurdistan?

I support all peoples right to sovereignty so yes. Also they have been in the land longer than any other group. Only the Native Anatolians were there as long as them

Doesntexistan.

They had their chance to form their own country during the war with ISIS, Iraq was really weak after Saddam was gone and they could probably have claimed a part of it as Kurdistan, it's very unlikey they could do this in Turkey or Syria.

and that's about it...

Turkey is not an option, just as Iran.

Tbh some unthinkable chain of events needs to happen for Kurds to gain independence.
