I've had a decent amount of debates surrounding my looks and why they should support my surgery as reparations for birthing me, obviously didn't work. However I recently talked about how easy it is for women and how hard the dating market is for unattractive guys, and he finally conceded that this is true however he thinks it's to a low extent. For context I was explaining why it's much harder to move forward in life without a source of validation (a reward for your work/purpose) and how being a women will always make you secure in that regard

Yes, but my mom is obviously a coping curry boomer who will deny the importance of looks until she is blue in the face.
