Love is supposed to be a sacred and rare thing.

Once your brain is exhausted with meaningless sexual activity, it becomes desensitized to it.

If you are actively creating useless, short term connections with somebody, your brain becomes USED to expecting short term, emotionless connections.

So you inhibit your capabilities to properly bond with someone, as your brain isn't used to it.
