A Type III civilization wouldn't need to "visit" us
At that scale even if they send ships we can't detect or see them.
They'd passively observe the entire solar system the way we monitor an ant colony without the ants ever knowing.
If any civilization has reached Type III, the probability they're unaware of Earth is basically zero. The more interesting question is why they haven't interfered.
We're to them what chimpanzees are to us.We don't teach chimps calculus but surely observe them but unlike chimps we humans got self destructing tendencies
