Do you think any high IQ users here went/want to get into plastic surgery as a career?

Title
Not including that fag Giant. I mean, some (probably greycel) here that plan to go to medical school and become a surgeon. I'm not talking about some high schooler either that just talks shit but someone actually working towards it with a good chance of succeeding.

This forum has some grinders/hardworking people eg @Jason Voorhees

Plastic surgery pays very well, and obviously close to our interests. I imagine the business is expanding even more cuz Gen Z is super blackpilled. If you are good at it and hardworking you can become extremely high status as well. It's a lot more chill compared to other specialties of surgeons/doctors who get called in when they are sleeping etc.

It requires high IQ to succeed though. Probably at least 120-125 if you want to do pretty well.

Whoever deicides to get into it should have very good pattern recognition, to assess minute similarities and differences
I think that contributes the most towards having “an eye for aesthetics”

I don’t think anybody here is willing to go down that path.. requires too much effort and time
It’s surprising very few surgeons have even bothered to understand aesthetics. There’s huge ROI for investing in that

It also requires an insane work ethic tbh

Especially in the US. Plastic surgeons can make a bank. Those Beverly hills surgeon charge a land rover for basic surgeries and thing is people are more than willing to pay that amount. You will have to do a lot of grinding to become board certified tho all surgeon specialities in the US have to undergo a very rigorous written and oral exam ive heard and I'd imagine plastic surgery isn't much different.

You won't start making money until you late 20s and will have to study a lot. Med school isn’t easy but medicine is imo one of the best fields to get into. Very high status, very high paying and very rewarding career. @Chadeep

It won’t be hard, will just be somewhat long
Understanding aesthetics will separate you from 99.999% of surgeons

I believe if you want to actually make bank with this and stand out in your area, you need to start your own practice and business which on top of achieving per-requisite skills needed is kinda strenuous.

One of the advantages of the other specialized fields ( like someone I know personally who is an experienced cardiac surgeon ) don't have to go through this whilst making a shit ton ( ~25k EUR monthly in my third world country ). Though that one is actually really hard.

Nephrology I heard pays well and is very chill

Nothing beats Giant

They tell you to get the wrong surgeries, your neurotic ass keeps going back to fix it, infinite money glitch for them

I'm not spending 10 years of my life on that, that's why I did dentistry instead

I was gonna study biogenetic engineering then realized this, years and years of my life aren’t worth it

But I could make breakthroughs in genetic sciences
