More self aware is a better term I think. Given an iq test I doubt there would be much difference. There is definitely something other than intelligence that it takes to really take a step back and think about how things really are, objectively. Lots of people work at google or nasa designing complex programs, fixing complicated machines that I could never begin to understand, but they think that women and men are the same and that their ugly son has a good chance to get married to an attractive woman. I think its a lot like religion, the people who are religious are not just daft and stupid, they are religious because it appeals to them in a certain way, and they dont look at it like a scientific paper, its just something different
